  1. If you're a big fan of the first two movies, you maybe in for a surprise. I was (and judging the rest of the audience) walked out less than satisfied with the third movie.

Snipe was good - not great. It was the rest of the characters in the movie that dragged it down. One character of the 'Night Stalker' group (IMOP) was a pain in the ass. Tried to be funny but didn't add that much comic relief. I was embarassed sitting there for teh actor trying to be funny.

Action sequences are there and plentiful. But nothing that jumps out from the last two films.

I thought there was hope with the main villan (the 'original Dracula') would bring a higher level of quality to the bad guys. This guy has been 'out of service' for centuries and does have a movement or two of disgust for the 21st century World. Yet he quickly faded into the canned Hollywood role that degenerated in 'I'm superior and everyone else is food to me.'.

Save your $s and wait until it hits the DVD rental shelf.

I never saw any of them but it sounded like this one was gonna turn out like Matrix Revolutions - BAD

Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

  3. I had high hopes for this movie, but the bad mouthing started a while ago and the release of the movie hasn't stopped it. I'll still watch it, hell I may even go to the cinema to watch it, but I'll do so with some trepidation.

I didn't think the second one was as good as the first, but I had hope for the third one. Oh well, I know I'll rent it when it comes out on DVD anyway.

I'll see it too. I enjoyed the first two despite, as you say, the at times shitty special effects. I loved the start of Blade, with Traci Lords , New Order blasting out and a great entrance by Snipes.
