OK so here I am today, checking out my favorite site imdb, and I notice that there is an ad to view 10 mins of Spanglish, now usually I ignore what happens next, but as I click to view the clip I see this “Play Clip with AOL Media Player”. I was thinking you have got to be kidding me; I looked around to find the link for QuickTime and moved on. While checking out the page I see that they have a featurette that is only playable with AOL's new POS. Now I ask you folks, how many have happily installed AOL in the last few years, why am I now forced to decide whether I want to install their new player now? To watch clips of movies I've like I had a choice, usually it's QuickTime and windows media...but now I have to add an extension to Firefox to see something – I do not think so. Anyone ever seen this anywhere, what format is it based on...I'm not going to install this player at anytime in the foreseeable future. How can I view this featurette without AOL? Anyone? Sorry for the little rant, just curious to see who else feels this way and if they have successfully thwarted this tyrant...

Oh and if this is in the wrong category (??) sorry I tried to find the most suitable one.
