  1. I have a ATI TV-Wonder and have noticed that with the various versions of MMC the digital VCR setup possibilities change. The differences come from the version of atimpenc.dll. Some of you indicate that you are able to set up higher resolutions (eg. 480X480, 640X480, 720X480, etc.) using ATI's software. How? Are those resolutions only possible with an AIW? What version of the said file resides in your C:\Program Files\ATI Multimedia\TV directory (file size and date)? Would anyone who has access to the higher resolutions be willing to send me the file?

  4. I have found MMCs digital capture to be wholly inadequate. You should look into using virtualdub to capture to MJEG.......it is very pretty (MUCH better than MMC MPEG1 or MPEG 2 and less HD eating than pure AVI capture which MMC sometimes has difficultly with anyway...)
