    I am thinking of buying a dvd recorder but the one i am looking at records in plus format only. My other dvd player only plays minus dvds.

    Is it possible to rip from a plus dvd onto my PC(even though its a minus dvd drive) so i can burn it onto a minus dvd?

    If your PC DVD reads +R/+RW, yes. I don't think there's a correlation between what it reads and what it writes.
