I have a brand new burner that was working fine yesterday.
I have burned about 10 cds and now I can't get anymore to burn. The cdrom will read cds but when I click on write in nero or easy cd creater the entire system freezes.
Any suggestions?

It's difficult to tell if your burner is faulty or not without first doing one of several things (or all these):
You can either -
1. Take the burner out and plug it into a friend's computer and try burning something.
2. Take it back to the store you got it and ask to get it tested. (they may charge you for it)
3. Update to the latest versions or nero and easy cd creator and see if it burns.
4. Due to many variables in w98se that could be causing it not to burn, you might want to format, re-install windows and try again. (This would probably be your last option I'd say)
