Megatoners have decided not to ship to Australia, desipite previously shipping to me.
Now I have a brand new Epson R210 and at AU$24 a cartridge, this 6 cartridge baby is going to break the bank.
I have a household of 4 heavy users, so your suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I've just bought one too, I was planning to buy generic ink, are you saying there's no such thing?
What about the "continuous ink" set-up? Where's the re-fill ink come from?
This is stuff I will undoubtedly be looking at in a month or 2. (In Melbourne, Australia). -
Looks like you can get aftermarket cartridges for AU$12 mail order in Australia. But Megatoners was much cheaper, just need to wait 8 weeks for delivery.
Also some cartridges are marked as been for both r200 and r210, where at some sites have different cartridges for the r200 to that of the r210 -

AU$12 cartridges: http://cheapink.com.au/products.php?brand=Epson&model=Stylus%20Photo%20R210
Continous AU$245 http://www.serviceit.com.au/
But in the US they are much cheaper..... -

if you're in Australia you should get a canon printer instead. There's no need for that expensive epson piece of junk that screws up label printing. If you don't know about this problem just search for "R200 feed".
The brand new range of Canon printers are far superior. For the same price you could get the R400 which has 5 ink tanks (an extra one for true blacks), and uses 2 picolitre technology.
Only in the US does Epson have the patent on CD/DVD printers. And they are still peddling the same range of printers that were released 2 years ago.
This range of Canons was just released a couple of months ago. I have one and it is the best I've used. -
Well maybe I missed out, coz the Epson R210 was the cheapest disk-printer when I bought it (AUS$200), maybe 3 or 4 months ago.
The Epson 310 was another $80, and so was the Canon 800i (or whatever).
BTW The Epson R210 uses "true black" cartridge as well (5 cartridges!!!)
All I'm asking is (after 100 or so disk-prints) is where can I get new ink? :P
At least you can replace one at a time. And they don't run out quickly. So $25 bux ain't that bad. But I'd like to find cheaper...
(PS: I'm still only half-way thru my inks, by the way...) -
Hi mikesbyte,
Since you have indicated that you have 4 heavy users, why not consider a continuous ink system.
There is a Honkong seller on ebay, although I don't have one, a lot of people are really impressed Look at this thread https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=241206WinXP SP1, Epson R200 and Pioneer A107 -
Seems that everyone is happy with the CIS from HK. Question is, should I get the dye or pigment version?
Pigment - US$165 + PP

Dye - US$95 + PP
