    Micro$oft is just greasing a few palms in the hopes that they can catch the actual producers/distributers of the pirated software. As Qui Gon Jin says, "There's always a bigger fish".

  3. what happens to those poor saps wh dont read the fine print "those who bought machines with fake copies pre-installed " and fess up about their home-installed pirate copy .. this alone will cover the cost.

    Looks like they are after the big copying outfits. Not your £3 blank disk you bought at the local car boot.....
    Nice to see you can get a max of 5 fresh new legit copies as well, providing you have reciepts...... Like you always get with the er, none legal stuff..... All for the price of postage... Tight fisted gits....
