How the video capture card works? Viewing and Recording are different way? I need to know how the Recording works. Please give some opinion. Thanks
<<<<FOR RECORDING>>>> Izit like that?
(1) From Video Capture Card => PCI => Motherboard => Processor => hard disk & 3D card (at the same time?)=> Monitor
or
(2) From Video Capture Card => PCI => Motherboard => Processor => Hard Disk => 3D Card => Monitor
or
(3) From Video Capture Card => PCI => Motherboard => Hard disk => Processor => 3D card => Monitor?
or
(4) From Video Capture Card => PCI => Motherboard => Hard disk & 3D card => Monitor (by pass the processor if enable DMA?)
or
(5) From Video Capture Card => PCI => Motherboard => Hard disk => 3D card => Monitor (by pass the processor if enable DMA?)
For Recording, I think is (4) if DMA mode enabled. (1) if DMA mode disabled. Any Opinion are Welcome. Feel free to POST it.
Thanks.

Someones probably going to shout at me here, but I think it's
Card>PCI Bus on Mobo>Processor>Disk and Graphics card. though if your capping you should really turn off the preview (so it goes processor>disk).
Viewing bypasses the processor, the card sends straight to video card.
