SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS MISSING!
That's right. SpongeBob SquarePants is missing. And those who frequent the Gorham Burger King where the 8-foot tall blowup SpongeBob was stolen Tuesday night are shocked
.
Mark Rinkin said, "SpongeBob is missing! I'm at a loss for words!"
Chris Sprikes agreed. "I don't know how to feel… it's a tragedy."
And grandmother Shirley Wildes was worried about the kids. "I think it's terrible," she said. "The kids will miss it!"
Police have been absorbed with the SpongeBob case, but say so far they don't have any suspects. They plan to interview SpongeBob's friends. "We haven't been able to get in contact with Patrick or Squidward," said Officer Lawrence Maxfield-Fearon of the Gorham police department. "We're still trying to contact them, so maybe they'll have some more information for us."
Maxfield-Fearon said other police departments also have been calling dispatch with helpful information, joking that Gorham should send out an Amber Alert.
Police say they aren't offering any reward for the $600 inflatable toy, but they said anyone with any information should give them a call at 839-5581.
-- NEWS CENTER
I'm getting really tempted to call...who else could it be? Unless of course, he's started a Raelian like religion promising inflatable toys instead of sex-bots. Maine used to be such a nice place to live. This used to be the kind of thing we only READ about....

I would give me right arm to have the success of David Hasselhoff. Say what you want, the guy has tons of freakin' cash. So what if he has no credibility as an actor.
