Help with encoding problem!!!

Hi,

I always have been encoding my downloads with TempGenc and had perfect results.
Now I have a strange problem however; After encoding, the mpeg doesn`t play smootly, but choppy, on pc and standalone player!!!
I haven`t changed any codecs, my memory is ok and my HD`s are defragmented and ok too.
I have tried everything I know , but it`s not possible for me to get rid of this problem. Maybe there is someone who had the same problem in the past who can point me in the right direction!!! Please, all suggestions are welcome!!!

load the file into virtual dub and scan the video stream for bad frames. That may be a possibility.
