All you have to do is look at the spindle, not very difficult. I love Rima, bought many hundreds of discs there, but TY for $20 per hundred can't be beat.

$20/hundred? The Best Buy ad I saw for Fujifilm (Japan Ty) was $20 for a 50 pack, not a hundred.

Use Circuit City B1G1 coupon at Best Buy. Worked for me and many others. Comes out to $0.20/disc.

You saying best buy stores will accept circuit city's coupon for an item on sale? Did you have to take it to a manager, or just walk up to the register? If so, I know where I am going tonight!

Anyone know if one of the retailers has good prices on blank DVD cases? I've gotten them from Rima before, but I could use some faster than I can get them from Rima.

I went to customer service person first to make sure they would accept it - which they did with no hesitation. Several people in another thread on this subject said their Best Buys wouldn't honor the Circuit City B1G1 coupon, but most have had positive results. Make sure you get the packages marked Made in Japan for the Taiyo Yuden. The box botton is knurled on the Japan disks. The BB I went to (Philly, PA) had both TY DVD-R and DVD+R. Great deal if your BB accepts the coupon.

I've done it 4 times, 400 TY discs for about $85. You gotta love Best Buy and TY.

"This week" is running out fast. I just went to my BB, and they had (4) of the Fuji DVD-R Japan. I bought them all, so for the Northridge, California store "this week sale" is over.

Pretty good deal, if you don't mind driving over there, then crawling around on your hands and knees sifting through about 50 cake boxes looking for the 4 cake boxes of the Japanese ones. Oh, and then holding up the check out line while they find a CSR to reject the coupon. BTW, they did not take the CC coupon. It says right on it "not valid for sale items or combined with other offers".

Rima price is good for this week, next week, next month, and good if you order 100 or 100,000. Actually, if you order that many the price is .48c.

A fair question. No, I am not a shill for Rima. I have just ordered from them a few times and really like their company and prices. Great product (TY) at a cutting edge price delivered to my doorstep. It is actually worth it for me to order from Rima and pay a few cents more, compared to driving to CC for a coupon, then spending time (and gas) driving back over to BB, then trying to find the product on the shelf at a bricks and mortar merchant that may or may not be there when I get there.

What I find really bizarre is people post here almost daily about crap media being offered at (insert store, BB, CC, Costco, Wal-mart, Staples, Office Depot) a higher price than geninue TY media.

I can't believe people actually spend their time driving around TRYING to find Memorex or CMC media and paying more for it!

thought and still think was a great deal, sorry they wouldn't take your

That really sucks your BB didn't take the coupon.Mine wasn't going to either. Then i asked for the manager and told him that the Customer Service rep on the phone that i talked to from the number on the BestBuy website told me they would accept the coupon. If he wouldn't i would like his name so i could call and just let them know at corporate that they were wrong and he was right

Needless to say i walked out with 400 Fuji discs for 80 USD's
