Question about trialware

A quick newbie question: I have downloaded all this trialware, and still nothing is working perfectly for me, so I don't know really what I want to buy. Also, with the holidays coming, I am afraid this whole video editing project may end up on the back burner for a while. So...if my trial version expires, will I be allowed in a month or so to download a new trial version, or will I somehow be prevented from doing that? I can see how people could just infinitely re-download the trial versions!

It depends on which particular trialwares you're using; different software authors have used different methods. Some will let you keep re-installing indefinitely; some will only let you start a new trial period if you're installing a version newer than the one which expired; some will cut you off completely after the trial period expires.
