I've been buying my slim DVD cases, single and double, from shop4tech.com.

The prices are good. but by the time they get around to sending them out from California it takes me a week and a half to get them here on the East Coast.

Does anybody know of a retailer in the New York/Upper East coast area?

    Thanks.

not from that side of the coast but I usually wait for ( either staples or office max ) anf I pay $ 7 -10 bucks in store and I wait for my 7-10 buck mail in rebate so they come out free ...they have tuesday sales on the net (staples.com or officemax.com I forget witch) ,,,and their policy is to match the price

If you are not picky... go to your local Blockbuster which is where I get mine...

Not to rub in but the other day I went over to my friend's house and seems that one of the computer places was throwing out DVD cases. He picked me up 4 boxes and they have 104-130 in each box!!! He just gave them to me

Those were probably cheaper than the 60 GB harddrive he gave me for my notebook, but still...it pays to know people.

Like said before, go to the local Hollywood and Blockbuster videos. THey get movies in on the weekends. Hollywood is also doing a case alteration for the new security devices, so you might be able to score a lot of old cases from them. If you let them know ahead of time, they will just hold some aside and give them to you.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Blockbuster isn't really an option for me. I record TV shows that aren't commercially available and sports.

I've been recording to DVD since Jan 2001 or 2002. For stuff like sports games, I don't dare use CD booklets because the games are irreplaceable. That, combined with my anal retentive need for high quality (I actually recorded one series of 300 45 min eps at one ep per disc) has created quite a stack(s) of cases. They are neatly stored and organized, but are still taking up way too much space.

So, I'm slolwly transfering all my DVDs from single normal sized cases to slim dual DVD cases. The normal cases they use at Blockbuster wouldn't really help me.

Also, I went to both the Staples and Officemax site and didn't really see any decent cases.

I guesss I'll just have to stick with shop4tech for now.

    Learn to let go.......
Anyway as for my comment about Blockbuster, most of the cases I got there had the dual disc insert already in them...
