    I have a .avi movie with a .srt file. How can i burn it together so that my stand alone DVD player can read the DivX with subtitles?

    Its a Samsung DVD player and can not read the external subtitles. I have to burn the subs into the movie

    Load the subtitles in the Filters tab and encode the avi as avi with DivX mencoder.

    1. XviD
    2. DivX (libavc)
    3. Fast DivX

    In version 0.0.9p the quick preset name is "DivX mencoder". Which version are you using?

    i thin 0.0.9, but i tried it yesterday with the DivX mencoder and it didn't work
