  1. This Is A Hard One! I Have a Pent. 166 and it's not picking up the CD-ROM in the BIOS I've tried 3 different CD-ROM drive and it just won't pick any of them up I pretty sure it's because I need to enter the Cylinder, Sector, Head and other options manualy in the BIOS but I'm not sure what they are.

    what do you recommend doing ? The CD-ROM is a TW 120D maybe I can find the setting on the net I'm going to look now thanks for all your help.

    cdroms don't use those.....

    the bios should have a selection for CDROM, if not, try putting it on auto detect.

  4. I got it thanks the CD-ROm was bad and the other one I tried had a jumper the said Single or Factory I just pulled it off and it works now.
