    Only on occasion. Nice that I can actually do it as there is only a few people who can. Might not last too long though... they guy next to me has been using it to take care of his wife at home.

    This is not a reason for telecommuting.

    Mondays and Fridays (I get every other Friday off anyways, but the one I work, I telecommute). I go in to the office just Tue - Thurs 8)

    I dont do **** all now and I go into work - I cant imagine me "working" from home as it were. I think I would be sacked within the week.

    As I documented some time back, I have moved back to my hometown with the merger of two companies. Both are on different systems so I have a permanent VPN into the one I'm not on. I also have VPN access to either or both from home as I'm the only IT guy in the branch and I'm too lazy to go into the branch in person if something goes wrong on a weekend.

    Or you could do the flipside, we just moved our office back into our house (we are a family company), yup I'm here in my home office now with 4 P4 servers and another 4 high end PCs whirring away.

    In the evening "down time" can anyone here say r-e-n-d-e-r-f-a-r-m
