I've been printing with the R200 for a few months now and have had a few minor headaches with it, but nothing so serious that I couldn't print with it until now. First off, I was having problems with the disc tray going under the rollers when the printer was pulling it in. My solution for that was to just open the cover and hold it down with my finger as it was being pulled in and this seems to work just fine (although I gotta watch out for the catridge holder as it does a quick swipe across). While this is annoying to do everytime I print a dvd, it's acceptable. The next thing that started screwing up, was after it was done printing and it was pushing the tray out, after it got the maximum distance out from the printer, I could still hear the printer trying to keep pushing it out as if it hadn't detected that it was already out. I would eventually get an error message saying to hit the eject button (or some such message, not really important), but since it was already finished printing, this error didn't bother me either. But now comes the doosey which is keeping me from printing altogether (just dvds, though, regular printing is doing just fine). As everyone who uses one know, the printer will pull the tray in all the way, do a couple sweeps, push the tray almost all the way out again, then pull it in again, and start printing. Well, what mine is doing is pulling it all the way in, but when it pushes it back out, it goes out too far, and I end up getting an error message saying the tray isn't set right, and to retry. But when I try lining the tray back up and hitting the continue button, the same thing happens again. This is really frustrating, anyone know how to fix this? I'm afraid it might some kind of sensor malfunction and I'm just out of luck.

  2. It's your disc tray, check out the little clear plastic nubs on the front. They are notorious for getting mangled, or even turning a milky-white color after a lot of uses (sometimes not even much use) and causing issues. Epson knows this and will send you a free replacement, you will need your printer's s/n when you call.
