Am recording from turntable to computer and until last night have had no problems. Now I am getting muffled results and can't figure out why. Using Goldwave to record and while the audio is recording everything sounds great, but when I play back the recorded track it's very muffled..no highs, weak lows and mids. Can play back previously recorded stuff no problem. Tried Audacity and Cubase...same problem.
From my thinking the signal in must be good, because it sounds fine while recording and if previously recorded stuff sounds normal, then there's nothing wrong with my audio out setup. So I'm confused about what's broken.
Any ideas what to try?
Thanks.
