    Should I get a lite-on, nec or samsung?

    LITEON DVDROM or a CDRW/DVDROM combo drive.
    then use the hacked firmware to increase ripping speed.

  5. I'd go samsung myself. I've had 3 different lite-ons in my current PC and all developed disk read problems within a couple months. Dell finally sent a samsung drive and its goind fine for almost a year now. Just my opinion though. A lot of people like the lite-on drives.
