Daewoo 5000N

With the DVD Hacks section down right now, does anyone have a solid resource for hacks for the Daewoo 5000N DVD Player? I've not yet opened the case to look at the chip ID and was hoping to have the information before I "void warranty."

Information on both Region and Macrovision would be appreciated.

I don't have the answer. Just wonder where did you get it from? amazon.com is back-ordered for a long long time.

I did open it and it is the chip you want - wound up with AVS-3169, and the box was manufactured September 2001. Serial ... CG19D046xx and I posted it to the DB someone has running here. I picked it up at one of my local Sam's Club in Houston. I went to 4 of the local shops and then realized I could pick a specific club online at their site and see their real stock (just what they carry, not actually the available status).
