Just got a new DVD burner and burned some DVD's at 6X.
My Apex 1200 will not play them but they will play on my computer.
The Apex will play the same DVD burnt at 4X fine.
Will only certain players play certain burn speeds?

Sounds like you're pushing the media too hard. The dye will suffer if you push cheap media past its rated speed. Back it off to 4X and read Lordsmurf's excellent page here:Originally Posted by haygood

the 4X play's on both of my Apex DVD players, but the 6X will only play on the newer one. Maybe it's the drive on the player
