I've just bought an AMD 64 bit processor and new gigabyte GA-K8VM800M motherboard, installed it into my current p.c. with my old DVDR drive and HD completed the upgrade by instaling windows xp home.
Everything seem ok except my writer, it writes films onto a dvd re-recordable disc fine, they are perfect when played back on a standard dvd player but it wont work with normal dvd-r's. Every one i've tried jumps and sticks.
Does anyone kmow whats causing this fault? The writer worked fine with my old AMD athlon processor.
