Hello everyone!
This website is by far the best I've found about video conversion and burning, and I thank people for it.
Now, I shot a couple of movies on my camera but two of them are in 4:3 PAL format while the other two are 16:9 PAL. They're all short so they'll fit on the same DVD, but that's the problem - can I fit them all on the same DVD without just burning as data but with menus etc.?
Thanks a bunch!

Hello neighbour (I'm in Burnaby), welcome to the forum.
I would expect that TMPGEnc DVD Author would accept them if you input each as a seperate track. Haven't tried it though."Art is making something out of nothing and selling it." - Frank Zappa -
Yes you can. The only catch is the authoring software has to support mulit-VTS segments. All of the footage in each VTS has to be the same video res., audio type, aspect ratio etc.. So you would put your 4:3 footage in one VTS and your 16:9 in another. My favorite is DVDLab Pro but there are many apps that will do the job. DLP has the advantage of allowing you to really customize your final layout. Check it out at http://www.dvdlab.net/dvdlab/dvdlabpro.html
Just look for multi-VTS support and you should be good to go. -
Ulead DVD Workshop will do that too. A bit pricey but it has a lot of professional features....
