'modifing' the menus from other discs

Just a general question because ive often wondered how you do it

-'Modify' a existing menu from a DVD, for example (purely an example here) 'Danny The Champion Of The World' a film I have on DVDR made from a VHS tape becuase its never been released on DVD.. but I wanted to 'modify' (for example) the menu from Little Nicky and use it for that but keep the music and picture and change the icons etc etc


Those 2 titles are purely examples from looking at my DVD collection behind me, just giving you the idea where would I start if I wanted to do something along those lines
