Dual Layer burning

As most of you are aware of the problems I encountered using DVDRB all this week with no success, as a result I opted to try dual layer disc purchased @ best buy for 34.99+ tax for 3 Verbatim disc. The main reason for this process were to back up live concert disc with different angles, LCPM audio, extra footage throughout etc. I have the NEC 2500 with herries hacked firmware enabling dual layr burning and so far 3 of my back ups are successfully burned with Decryptor, no layer break problems so far, even on my old Apex AD600 player.

That's good news. I was curious if you were able to set your own layer break as long as both layers are pretty much equal or the first layer was larger than the second.

I ask because I am planning on backing up my LD's and want to make some dual layer discs. I just hope I can encode a file that comes out to 8.5Gb with TMPNGEnc Plus 2.5.

My method of backing up were ripping entire disc, Iso mode with decryptor, then Iso write back to dual layer disc, in short ,what ever default layer break in decryptor seems to be working.
