Optorite DD0203 rxv 2.50 and WriteDVD 11 2 error

I use CloneDVD and AnyDVD to make backups and I was gettin choppy playback, especially with Fox DVDs. I just flashed the firmware to 2.50 to see if that solved any problems. First It burned OK on a DVD+RW using nero. Then I tried a Memorex DVD-R. THe drive froze and the program hung. Now everytimg I try to write to a FujiFilm DVD+R, I get a WriteDVD 11 2 error. Not sure what happened.

I forgot to mention that nero seems to work ok.

Yes, the same thing happened to me too. CloneDVD was working fine on my Optorite DD0203. But after flashing the firmware to v.2.5, I got "Writing to media was not successful: unexpected error. Write DVD 10 2 W2" error every time. This happen with all kinds of DVD+R blanks, including Supermedia and Memorex.

Perhaps something is wrong with v.2.5 firmware.
