Just got back from a meeting with the principal and one of the other teachers over something I said

A few days ago...Monday I think...I over hear this one science teacher (if you've read my posts, it's the same one that had the issue with the 2 girls and being late to his class)...he was talking about how he dislikes a couple of kids. I wasn't in the conversation but was in the area...it was at lunch....anyway he said "she's just a little bitch, who won't ever amount to anything." I know this girl and she's alright, not exactly what you would call a gifted student but far from his description.

But I just let that go, didn't say anything, not my business and maybe he was just having a bad day.

Wednesday - same teacher - I'm walking out of the boys restroom and almost ran into him. (The normal boys restroom that all the students use). I said "excuse me" And he says "you use the same restroom as the students ??" and I said "sure, why not." and he said "well you will never catch me using the same restroom as the students." I just rolled my eyes and walked away.

Friday morning - as you may have noticed from the starving children rant, I'm in a bit of a dark mentality today - I am in the teacher's lounge this morning and I am talking to another science teacher...she's good looking...but not why I was talking to her....and this guy just walks in, interupts my conversation and starts getting rude to her about something. So I said "excuse me, we were talking." and he said "I don't care." So off the handle I flew. I squared up to him, got about 6 inches from his face and said "you are just a **** you know that? I ******* hate cocksuckers like you." He left immediately. (he's a wad, little skinny ****, when he wears yellow he looks like a ******* pencil).

Anyway, apparently he left the teacher's lounge and went and told the principal on me. So the pricipal came down to get me and we went on the carpet over my language and confrontational demeanour towards him. So while I was in there, I made mention to the principal why I spoke to Captain Jackass in that manner.

Principal just told me that type of language was not acceptable even in the teacher's lounge with no students around.

That ******, I hate people like that. I should have fronted him on monday over his comments of that girl.

Going to be a long day at this rate and it's worksheet and test day in the Northcat classroom so I have plenty of time to stu about it.

No worries. Relax fellas, I'm not getting fired over him. Northcat is much smarter than that. And I'm more creative than that. I would more apt to do something like transfer porn to his computer and then email it to the Superintendent "accidentally" from his address than to bust him in the mouth here at school....but, if our paths cross outside of these 4 walls, he's going to have issues.

He's an ego whack job. He's smarter and more important than everyone else because he taught at a junior college for 2 years before coming here **** him...I've got his ego alright.

Nah, I won't nark on him. But <writhing hands together> I'll get him and when I get him, he will be got.

The last time I set my mentality against someone I worked with, I got the corporate credit card out of his wallet...without his knowledge and then called a phone sex line and left the phone off the hook for 4 hours.

The upper management were not happy and he was fired. ******.

Me? I still believe in home education. I believe Canada has it. Schools can be BRUTAL (not just from "bullies", but from TEACHERS).

I think PARENTS should educate their kids. And if PARENTS are too dumb to teach their kids, well, they shouldn't have kids.

I handle it because #1 I mainly work with the kids and only see the other teachers occasionally. #2 - I make it a point to stay in touch with their world. I play X-box, PS2, I listen to some of their music, watch their movies, I'm still hormone driven (which comes partly by nature and partly of working year round with adolecent football players) and I refuse to grow up

I seriously don't see me as a person "who gives a ****" so to speak. I would not consider myself a caring person. But damn, these are kids. They're not little strands of infection running around, they aren't poisonous. They are real people. And at 16,17,18 years old, they are about to adults and equal members of society right along with everyone else. And I just treat them like normal people.

Problem with most teachers are they went straight from HS, to college, then back to HS. They were the library rats who have a love of learning but have never really experienced the outside world as far as corporate america or a blue collar job that 85% of their students will spend a lifetime doing. They fail to realize that while they may view janitors, garbage man, and mechanics as inferior people, someone will do that job and those jobs are not only needed but also necessary for a functional society.

And I don't deal well with others who tend to look down their noses at other people.

I think PARENTS should educate their kids. And if PARENTS are too dumb to teach their kids, well, they shouldn't have kids.
