I just recently bought the new "Words and Music: John Mellencamp's Greatest Hits". It's a two cd set - good stuff. Anyway, stamped all over the package are these warning messages from the FBI.
FBI Anti-Piracy
Warning:
Unauthorized copying is punishable
under federal law.
It has official government seals and everything.

Hello,
I think every cd/tape has had a "unathorized duplication is against the copyright" or some such language.

I've seen that one. This one is very evident. Not unlike that old FBI warnings on VHS tapes with the official FBI seal and the whole nine.

It is just a scare tactic and is almost uninforceable.

Buy a bottle of Vodka and it has an official government seal too

Why buy music from an RIAA member label that then uses your money to sue fellow customers and overprice and limit music? That sticker should be a big warning saying DO NOT BUY THIS CD.
