Here's what I want to do. I want to create a VCD (don't have a DVD burner, just a CD-RW) to play in my DVD player with a repeating message on it. A scrolling banner/slideshow with a few pictures maybe. Just that simple. What is the simplest tool to do the job. I will be burning on my computer, XP pro with CD-RW. This will probably be a one off deal so I'm looking for a freeware/shareware program and preferably one that is not huge (ISDN line).

Then you'll need to author as VCD. Use the last free version of VCDEasy. That part's pretty much drag-n-drop simple.
That's the easiest way I can think of to do it right.
