I've been messing around with dvd-decrypter and womble mpeg wizard but things just ain't going so well. I've got a dvdr on my hard drive, with 4 .vob files around 4Gb total size. I want to make them into one long mpeg-2 video stream. What is the best way? Burn to dvd-r and then use dvd decrypter to import as one file with no breaks?

No, you can use ReJig to extract m2v and/or audio as one long file out of any # of VOBs.
