    Ok, im a professional musician, but suck at computers. Thanks to some responses to my other topic, i am after a music editor that is very SIMPLE to use but has EQing and GATING.
    I have audacity, acid xpress and sound edit pro but i cant seem to do what i am trying to do with them. Audacity is very easy to edit, but i need to eliminate some instruments from the sample, and i cant seem to do that with Audacity.

    All help will be greatly appreciated.

    Have you looked at plug-in FX for Audacity? Also Goldwave has a fully-functional trial version, I believe. And you could try that great old shareware CoolEdit96!
