I thought Pear had very limited success with OSX anyhow. In fact, I read that it only operated at 20-30%.

I think its gotten a bit better. I have a friend who says he runs it on a Athlon 64 3000 with 512mb ram and that its fairly useable. Also says he needs alot more ram for it.Originally Posted by smearbrick1
You got to remember windows will grab from 100 to 200mb of ram on boot up on the average config out there (note I said average) so if you running say 512mb only you also got to consider that OSX will grab about 200mb itself. Does leave much does it?
