    I have recently recorded a couple of items off SKY onto DVD-RW and other people have borrowed them but unable to play them back.
    I originally had this probalem a while back and identified it being due to the fact I had formatted the disk in VR mode, thus Video format fixed the problem. Now it has started to happen with Video formatted disks. I have tried several media, I'm baffled. I'm doing nothing different and I've tried various record modes such as SP, ELP, etc.

    Any ideas

    I'm sure i've not had to do that on previous occasions, but I'll give it a go and if it it works I'll kick my self for being so stupid.
