ok, nothing seems to be going right lately.....

    the main problem:

my computer's display is f**ked, it will only take standard display and when it does take that it wont go out of 16 colours!, so after running scan disc, virus scanners and trying to sort what I could think of, I came to the conclusion that I had blown my Graphics Card, so I bought a new one from eBuyer!, well thats not the case installed the new graphics card and its still giving me the same error

"no graphics chip on this system" or something along the lines of that

If anyone knows how to sort this, it would relieve alot of mental pain and stress from my life :P

    thanks

    it was working.....

its been a while since ive been using the pc, but I remember it all started when i moved back from glasgow...

I plugged my pc into my mums monitor and it installed the monitor and stuff and everytime i booted the pc it kept re-booting for nothing, and now i have it back up and running it keeps saying the "no chipset on this system rubbish" which is making me think it could be a problem with the slot/motherboard?
