have just bought an ATI TV wonder.

my question: is it possible to do away with the composite-s video input lead that is used to input the video and modify the board by adding composite video jacks soldered onto the board.
the reason i ask is that i have seen on another forum a guy who added rca jacks onto an aiw card.
i realise this may be a stupid question as i am a newby.

also, what is the best capture card for just capturing video from a device like a cable decoder.
i don't need any tuner. all i need in composite video/sound input.

    thanks

    No.

Be sure that REALLY IS a s-video connection. Some other inputs have the same wiring.

Whoever said they added RCA audio to an AIW card was full of it. The card has no audio, only passthrough to audio card, done via dongle/breakout box.
