Can I get the best overall media for Hub-printable DVD-R's?
I have been using BEALL 4x and getting them from Meritline. I have been extremely happy with the disks. Hardly any burning problems, plus no compatibility problems. But I would like to be able to purchase them from another company if need be. Meritline has been out of stock for almost 2 weeks now.
In the meantime they sent me PRODISK 4x silver printable. So far they seem to be a good disk. Once in awhile I get a group of disks in the spindle that are bad. (5-10 disks) in a row don't burn.
Any help on what everyone else uses would be greatly appreciated. I use on average 1500-2000 disks per month.

I've gone through about 2,000 of the silver printable Prodiscs with hardly any problems. About 1% failure rate, which is pretty good. I also used the BeAlls (white and silver printable), and they worked good too. The Prodiscs have been as compatible, but about 10 cents a disc cheaper.

Taiyo Yuden dye is great but the top surface is poor in those "blank" discs (poor scratch resistance)...

Printable I like Beall too, also prodisc is very good for hub printable.
I ordered 500pack Beall last time. Now I still have 200pack. Wait Beall come back :P :P -
Beall are not available in Canada
I've tried TY -R, Ritek (ridata) -R and Prodics +R.
I have the best result with TY, in terms of what cd-dvd speed is telling me.
However, best compatibility with dvd players was obtained with Ritek.
Not happy with prodisc +R, but I might give a try with -R. -

Why?
Traxdata sounds like Trashdata.
They should change this name -

one thing for sure that I really like their customer service and they like a friend to me that is why I like to buy from them. I run a small home base business for cd/dvd duplication and printing for local customer (santa clara CA)
their are close, no shipping need, and exchange each coster media
but as I memtion sometime their price stink
