    Hello,

For a long time I've always wanted a cd that had guitar solos. JUST SOLOS! I've never really done a hard search but there must be something like it out there.

I'd prefer pop rock but some hard rock like Bon Jovi or Van Halen would be ok too. It would be just neat to have at your fingertips the best riffs ever recorded.

    Any ideas?????

I would think that an album full of out of context solos like that would be pretty lame. A lot of the time what makes the solo great is more in what builds up to it, or how the lead flows out. You can have some furiously hardcore chops, but if your shit don't flow, it don't matter.

And I can't imagine many band members would wild about somebody butchering up thier collective effort just to show off the guy playing guitar. Nobody I've ever played with anyways. I know would never snub any of the fellas in my band like that.

Make your own. Just pull the guitar solos of your CD collection, save as wav, then burn to CD. You could also make a cool montage out of them if you want. CoolEdit Pro is great for that, or you can use your video editor, it also works great for that sort of thing. I like to make loops out of them so I can use them for background music.
