  3. Well I geuss when you say "like the real ones" you'll have to define what real is

I have tons of store bought DVDs and they come in many types of cases.
I actaully HATE those cardboard and plastic types like Scooby Doo and others use. Maybe you've seen em, the cover seams printed right on the case, not an insert under plastic like a "normal" case. Flimsy little snap shut plastic edge. I have several other types also.

Anyway I orderd most of mine from rima.com and I think they're the same as about 80% of my store bought disks are comming in.
Once I put a insert in them and put them on the shelf with "real" ones I can't tell the difference. I haven't had any problems with them either, they aren't flimsy at all. Nearly exactly the same case as most my DVDs came in.

You could try shop4tek for cases, but those were the same as rimas when I bought there too. But I liked rimas better due to packing issues.

Maybe you just ordered the wrong type case or things have changed since I bought mine, I buy everything at least 100 at a time! I also have 2 disk cases and such, so it take awhile for me to run out and place new orders.

Maybe what you been buying at blockbuster for cases are their own specail cases and not normal cases after all either. Since I don't have a blockbuster around here I don't deall with them, but since they are a rental business maybe they have extra heavy cases for heavy use??
Have you bought any DVDs to see what kind of case they come in recently?
All the new DVDs are almost all using rima type cases like I bought, unless they have some goofey case like Scooby Doo and 2.

Anypalce that sells disks normally has alot of cases to choose from of various styles and number of disks ect...
I am about to order 4 disk cases in a couple days myself.

I just search for them on eBay. Last time I bought any I believe I paid like 20 bucks for a hundred of them, shipped. They look just like the ones they sell in 3 packs & 5 packs at WalMart.

    Hi!

I think the cases you are looking for are AMARAY branded cases. They are usually about three times the cost of normal cases. I posted a similar question a couple of days back. If you in the UK this would help.

"Real" cases are generally ALPHAPAK, not AMARAY. A bit more expensive, but also a bit nicer.

  7. I like the Nexpak THINPak. 1/2 the thickness of a std DVD so I can fit more on a shelf. If dual then get the double disk one which is 3/4 thickness of a Std DVD.

    Quality is pretty good.

Usualy buy in bulk from tape & Media.

Amaray is a name brand that the majority of store bought DVDs come in, and they are expensive for the real thing.I get mine from blockbuster on Tuesdays whenever I want, they GIVE htem away free in NY, just ask, but it has to be on a Tuesday -that's when the new movies are released. You could always do the dive thing, there was a real long thread on that subject a while back, you could do a search, or you could go the ebay route also. I have purchased the ones from Shop4tech in the past, but wasn't crazy about their release button - they were difficult to release the DVD, a big difference between the easy release button on the Amarays.
