  1. My work just bought a 100 pack of 4X "K Hypermedia" DVD-R made in Taiwan. I've never heard of them and know they are cheap. This pack has not been opened yet so can you tell me if they are any good or are they bad?

Where can I buy the best, or most reliable DVD-R's Online for the best price? Compatibility is most important here, We send DVD products all over the U.S.

How can I adentify good DVD-R's Online? I've heard good ones are from japan but they don't tell you that online.

I'm trying to place an order today so a fast response would be greatly apreciated.

    Thanks

  2. Never tried the DVD-r but a spindle of Khypercrap CD-rs were the biggest waist of my time. They weren't even worth the free after rebate deal they had for them.

If you want more info on good DVD-rs call up RIMA and talk to the people. I have had good results with them. Haven't bought DVD-rs from anyone else. (I use Riteck Ridata 4x dvd-rs myself.)

  3. I bought some of those from Micro Center a while back. These were the worst dvd-r's I have ever used. Just about everyone would fail in the burn process. Only a couple burned good. Maybe it's just my Sony DRU-500A that doesn't like them.

  6. Read this thread that I started - https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=239443 - you should have posted this in the Media forum, BTW. If this is TTG01 media code, it is excellent media. If it is CMC media code, you are going to get a lot of people telling you it is complete crap, while some, including myself, have not had any problems with CMC. Apparently with CMC, your success may depend somewhat on the burner you use. My NEC burner has no trouble with them, while I've seen some people with Lite-On burners complain about them. You're going to have to open the package to get the media code. Use DVDInfoPro and put a blank in a DVD burner to get the media code. I'd be interested in knowing what the media code is on these, so let us know.

  7. I made an early mistake of buying 25 Khypermedias when I bought one of my Toshiba burners. More than 50% of them failed compared to the 100% Sony's that did not fail. The Khypermedias turned out to of course be CMC's.

    I assume you've checked out http://www.nomorecoasters.com?
