We have this stuck-up bitch who works down the hall. I sat and talked to her once, because she's also from Chicago, and now I think she thinks I have a thing for her. She is very distant now.

Don't get me wrong ...she's hot, 30, single, but nothing turns me off faster than conceit. She's not that hot

Just the office manager. She's a real bitch, too. Wants everything her way all the time. Gets upset when you ask her to get out of your chair. Pisses and moans when you're not paying attention to her, etc.

Well lets see, do I have a strong opinion about anyone I work with.....that's ******* joke right? Let us begin with:

We have 2 gay teachers. They think they are higher and mightier than anyone else, they think no one knows about their relationship but it is common knowledge. The problem is they have all the upper level kids in class. It would be my kids that are working at the resturants where they go out together. One is history, he thinks he knows everything, he went to Marshall University and he is just the smartest mother ****** on the planet. Always talks down to everyone like we are a bunch of mental retards. The other teaches science, this **** thinks he is Albert Einstein and Isaac Newton's love child. Poindexter piece of shit thinks he is higher and mightier than anyone else. Have only ran into issues with the science teacher. He gave 2 girls detention because they were late to his class. Now get this....they were in his room, but were not seated when the bell rang. So they had to come back to my room to get a pass. My room is about 120 yards from his room, so they come back down to my room, I write them a pass. Next day the same thing. Now bear in mind that both of these girls were exceptional students and didn't even know how to get in trouble. So on the 2nd day's pass, I wrote, "Anne and Jennifer were in my room and I'm sure if they are a little tardy to your class it is because they really can't get there on time. Quit being an ******* about it."

He doesn't speak to me anymore but he quit being an ******* about it.

Latin teacher - she's a real busy body. I leave everyday one period before everyone else. It's in my contract and was a condition of me accepting the position here. One day she says "Northcat, did I see you leaving before the end of the school day yesterday?" I said "yes you did." She said "where were you going, our day ends at 3:21, by contract you are not allowed to leave before then." I said "well, can we at least agree that where ever I was going is none of your business?"

She doesn't speak to me anymore either.

English teacher - not the hot one - last year she was having trouble with some things, like the copier, her key, etc, etc. So being a nice ******* guy, I helped her out. One day I had about 300 copies to run and I asked her if she wanted to run hers so she didn't have to wait....that was very ******* courteous of me I ******* think........she says "yes, thank you. But Northcat, I have to tell you, you have no chance with me." I said "excuse me " she said "you being nice to me, going out of your way to assist me...I just need to tell you, it's not going to happen." I looked at her and said "you haven't seen my wife have you? Cause if you had you would realize the stupidity of what you just said. Me not have a chance with you...shit...I would rather jerkoff to the discovery channel." and I walked out. She tried to apologize later, but I told her to go **** herself.

She doesn't speak to me much anymore either.


Secretary - I flirt with her on a regular basis. She gets an attitude with me one day and tells me that she hopes I realize she is just flirting nothing more. I said "yea, me too." and left it at that. One day last year my wife comes in to pick up my check because I was....sick the secretary meets my wife. I come to work the next week and the secretary says "Wow, Northcat, your wife is really good looking." I just looked at her and said thank you and went on about my business. Except now the secretary flirts with me heavy duty. Emails me stuff, leaves notes in my mailbox, calls me on my cell phone, etc. All because she thought she was the highest level I could reach, and since she saw my wife realized who was playing in the majors and who was still playing for the minors. Self absorbed twit.

Ok that's enough for now, more conferences tonight. I'll let you know how it comes out...er...um how it goes down....er....um....what I get into....well hell, you know what I mean.

My departmental manager. In theory I report to him.

He joined the company after I had already been there about 6 months. (nearly 5 years ago now). He was hired as a manager so I had no problem with him joining as my 'superior'. We immediatley hated each other. Although he was actually quite good technically, he thought he could tell me how to do my job. Needles to say he couldn't. We had several major disagreements in his first few weeks, culminating in a shouting match in the middle of our open plan office when he denied in public that I had been given permission to make some changes to our operating procedures that we had agreed privatley. These days I am fortunate that he just lets me get on with my job and even consults me on technical matters occasionally. I think he realised after those 1st few weeks that he can't bully me and he isn't better at my job than me.

Our Computer guy came down to where I was this evening and asked me if I would bring his notebook home and see if I could fix it because it wouldn't load windows I booted from the CD, it loaded windows fine, I cleaned out the spyware and deleted 23 of his 56 startup items in his msconfig startup tab, and it started and runs great .......... welcome to my world

A new manager at my work and I were having an arguement.

I said she was doing a crap job of managing and she blurts out "i'll have you know that I've got a certificate 3 in retail management, what are your qualifications?" (For anyone who isn't familar with that it means she did like a 6 month part time TAFE course, its something that qualifies you to be a maccas manager).

When I told her that I'd studied management, economics, business analysis, marketing, industrial relations amongst other things for 2 years at university and got distinctions in almost all of my courses as well as the Accenture Management Prize she shut the **** up.

Now whenever she tries to argue I just quote management theories to her. She can't win the stupid bitch.
