  1. Running a 3.2ghz PC with 240G hard drive. All I want to do is capture a full 60 minute tape from my digital camcorder in "DV Full Quality". I know this will create a massive file but I'm not aware of any limitations as I file system is NTFS.

Anyway, I appears that my 5 or 10 minute captures are working OK but once I get past that, the file simply disappears??? In other words, I click end capture....I go to Edit and there is nothing there (there may be scene stills available on the top of the screen but there is not content at all). In my "captured video" directory there are no relevant AVI files. I confirmed that my files are being saved to this directory.

MPEG full quality capture seems to work OK with no time limit but DV full-quality is giving me problems.

I've already tried the Pinnacle support forum - nothing yet. Thank you.

have you tried capture( or actually copy) the dv using windv or dvio? you should have no problem with file size limits using ntfs.
