  1. Hello,

I am looking at some dvd media shops and reviews for dvd media to burn my camcorder movies on. But I see a lot of conflicting info? I need a brand that has excelent quality and ALSO works after a couple of years, so good archiving quality. Price is no issue.

    Regards

Good info here - http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm or have a look at the DVD media section on this site.

It would seem that taiyo yuden are considered
the cadillac of dvdr's. I have used them and they
do perform beautifully. There are also a brand
of ARMOR PLATED disks. I believe they are from
tdk. Check out the media info section on this site.

I use the TDK armour-plated disks for archiving special home videos and as an option for client archives as well. They are expensive compared to just buying a spindle of blanks, however they are a lot more scratch resistant.
