If you want comments on your kprobe scans post them at the LITEON FORUM at cdfreaks.com. I see you didn't convert your LITEON 411 drive with the ZEBRA MOD to the 811s drive. If I'm not mistaken that scan you posted isn't the greatest.

Maybe you have TYG02 discs made by one of the Taiwan manufacturers such as Optodisc or Gigastorage and not by Taiyo Yuden themselves. Look on the disc's packaging. Does it say Made in Taiwan or Made in Japan? If it says Made in Japan, you've got a bad batch of genuine TY. If it says something else, you've got "pseudo-Taiyo Yuden" (i.e. fakes).

well, there were 2 different spindles at bestbuy. one that said made in japan and the other said made in taiwan.

i chose the japan ones.

your 411 liteon doesn't burn well with DVD-R media no matter what brand you use. it's a fact that is well known in the liteon forum at cdfreaks.com that DVD-R media doesn't burn well with the 411s drive unless you mod it with the ZEBRA MOD to a 811s drive. if you wanna have good quality burns then mod your drive to a 811 with the ZEBRA MOD. but i've already suggested that to you several times and you've PRIVATE MESSAGED me as well. in my opinion you're wasting those TYG02 discs by using the 411s drive. buy yourself a better dvd burner to use those TYG02 discs or use DVD+R media.
