I'm trying to burn a video file (just to a file on the DVD, not as a "video") with Nero, but it is saying that because the file is larger than 2 GB, it can't be stored in an ISO file system. So then it tells me to change to UDF by selecting a different compilation type, but I can't seem to find that option anywhere.
It's also confusing me, because I have burned this file before and it worked fine.
Thanks

Hello,
If your just storing it as a file can you just drag and drop it?? I know some of the newer burning software allows it to work like the good old floppy disc - select the file and drag it to the dvd drive icon. That would be the easiest if yours supports it.

yeah?
hmm - well, all I have right now is Nero - and no apparent drag and drop
but if it's the software, I'll look around and see if other things might work
thanks -
In nero when you select a new dvd compilation there is a few choices and the one you want is dvd-rom(udf).You can't burn files 2Gb and over as regular data.it has to be burned in udf mode.
I think,therefore i am a hamster.
