    I'd like to know how can I keep the widescreen format when I burn a VCD using Nero? I have the .avi file, which Nero converts, but then when I play it on my DVD, the image has been modified to fit the screen.

    Yes you can keep the Wide Screen, but dont use Nero to convert, use TMPGEnc, and go to Settings / Advanced, and set it to 16:9 and Full Screen (aspect ratio 2)

    that should fix your Wide Screen problem and also create a higher quality VCD then Nero ever would.

    What is the difference between "Full Screen (keep aspect ratio 2)" and "Full Screen (keep aspect ratio)"

    They both seen to do the dame to me.

    As far as I know, the diffrence is how Media Player will play it, not the DVD Player.
