ok so i had 5 small vobs i put together in tmpgenc dvdauthor and then i demuxed in vobedit - the audio is the right length and the video plays the full length too but instead of the time saying 35 minutes like the audio - it says 13 minutes (like the first video clip out of the 5 i put together).

so when i come to reauthor as part of a bigger project it only does 13 minutes of video instead of the 35 minutes that i know is there.

is there a way i can reset the timecode - i thought i found some software to do that called streamweaver but i've lost the link i had and i cant find out information about it anywhere.

    any ideas?

thanks for your time and cheers for reading!

I've run into this too, though in a different environment.

It's a typical error. I don't know a solution to the problem except go back to the files you started with.

I had a DVD like that on DVD-R. I wanted to copy it to DVD+R. Nero disc copy didn't work. ShrinkDVD worked, without shrinking it.

There should be a way of ripping the file back into the original files (if you deleted the original smaller files). Don't know how, but I bet someone else would know.

i still have the original files but i need them to be stuck together. if there's a way to do that other than using tmpgenc dvd author i'd love to know

  4. if your problem is the same as mine - i have the answer. if your problem is not the same as mine, well then dont listen.

    are your .m2v files VBR?
adding the audio file to the .m2v file inside tmpgenc dvdauthor?

i had the same issue with the files being the wrong lenght (about 1/2 as long)

simply mux the video and audio together in tmpgenc (not the tmpgenc dvd author)before adding to tmpgenc dvd author.

    this solved my problem!
