I've got the new Star Wars disks and really think that some of the menus are cool but it takes too much space to keep them all on there, and I don't need them all. Is there a way that I could edit/compose a menu and then keep the main movie's two English tracks (5.1 and Director's comments) and the two subtitle tracks (subs and alien language translation). I've been using DVD Shrink to back them up, but I'd like to be able to extract and splice together a new menu for it.

can you not just blank everything out you don't want using DVDShrink?, or do they have random menu's on these discs as that would cause problems as you would see blank menu's sometimes
. You could use Ifoedit or PGCedit and get rid of the random menu feature as it's rather easy with these DVD's
DVDShrink's reauthor gets rid of the menu functions so you can't use that either. DVDLAB or Tmpgenc DVD Author could probably do it but you will probably lose the original highlights but it would be rather straight forward
you could use DVDAuthor and rebuild the orginal menu including highlights but it depends on your knowledge of DVD structures and files
DVDRemake Pro could do it and grab whatever you want from the original and create a new DVD from it. Again you would need to have at least some knowledge on what to do as commands and button destinations would need to be edited
