Sorry but have a starwars ?

i thought i read a post about Starwars 7 8 and 9 but i did a search and couldnt find it.. i was jsut worndering what the rumors were. i remember when ANH came out there Lucas was going to make 4 5 6 1 2 3 then 7 8 9.. then in an interview he said no plans to do last 3.. but he also said the dvds for 4 5 6 were going to be out after 1 2 3 were done.. so you cant count on him.. so does anyone know the topic i am refering to?

THX 1138 was initially supposed to be some early rendition of the beginning of Star Wars. Lucas redid the story to the better Sci-Fi flick we know it as, but listen to the sounds and try following it around and see what you might perceive as the beginning of what could have been a different Star Wars.

If I get a chance I'll zip a divx clip of an interview from 1999. ET had a interview with Lucas which said 7-9 was a misunderstanding. He was going to do the prequels but the interviewer said you should do sequels as well. So that's where 7-9 came from. In the interview with leonard maltin he clearly states nothing is written and has no idea what would happen.

DISCLAIMER - this was from 1999 so things MAY have changed but I wouldn't think so. I may post the clip tonight.
