I installed Windows XP this weekend, ran all video capture and encoding programs including dvd rip, all ran perfect with about a 10-20 percent increase in speed!

PS, yes it was a pain to install and get everthing working, 2 major probs both fixed by microsoft tech support, but since when is installing a new OS every easy!!
