Hello all,
I know this will probably be a simple fix but I can't seem to figure it out. I have a dozen DVD's extracted to my HD as images using the latest version of DVD Decryptor. I tried to open the images in DVD Shrink but I get an "Invalid UDF filesystem." (All 12 images.) I also have the latest version of DVD Shrink. I've burned these images in the past so I know they work. The only thing that I have recently done to the system is upgrade to XP service pack 1. Is that the culpret? Any ideas/suggestions?
Thanks,
Mako

are the images ISO files? if they are just use DECRYPTER to burn those images or use a older version of DECRYPTER.

Thanks for the reply. What I want to do with them is change the label of them. All 12 disks have the same label. I want to make each one individual to the content of the disk. DVD Shrink can do both open an image AND change label. Any other software?
Thanks,

sorry but i don't understand what you mean by changing the label. maybe use a older version of DVD SHRINK 3.05 beta?

All 12 of the disks are labeled "Brazil", so when I went to save the image via DVD Decryptor, it defaulted to save it as "Brazil.ISO." I have to manually change the save name to represent what the DVd actually has. I want to change the volume label to represent what each disk is if I ever have to copy them again. Sorry I can explain it better.
Thanks,

I think I know what your saying but don't really have an answer.
You have like a Startrek set of all the movies and the disk label just says Startrek when you read it in the drive like with windows and You want to change that disk label in the ISO to be different for each disk Like Startrek 1, Startrek 2 ect.. so when you insert the disk in the drive and read with windows explorer you know what that disks is.
Right?
I am enterested in an answer for the same thing myself. I have a ton of back ups I want to make of my own disks (original content). When I first authored most of the disks I didn't use a label at all, just left it blank on the disk. Any label I typed also resulted in a warning message Not a valid label for some reason. Now I want all those disks in ISO for making easy copies when needed. So I geuss I may have about the same problem. -
Actually all of the disks are of zeppelin content. TV specials, etc. I figured out how to rename the volume labels of the .ISO. Open DVD Decrypter and go to the tool button on top. If you got to the ISO option and click on it, a new button appears that says "change volume label" or something like that. Use that option. It will ask you to select the file and you are allowed to enter in new volume labels. Click apply and ok. I used that to change all of my volume labels.
Onto my other problem. Persomeone else's suggestion, I tried an older version of DVD Shrink and got the same results. Next I burned one of the problematic images in DVD Decryptor and tried to extract it again to a .ISO file. Same result. Next I tried to extact via file mode. That time it opened perfectly in DVD Shrink. Go figure. My next attempt will be with an older version of DVD Decrypter. I'll post my results tomorrow.
Thanks,
Mako
